I am a coach and counsellor with over 35 years of experience primarily in the business sector. The bulk of my experience comes from the hands on management of various businesses. More recently I have also been assisting with the development of cohesive and supportive business cultures and structures. My particular focus has been on business growth (individual or corporate), team cohesion, goal achievement and leadership / management development. I believe I am able to add value to a business at any stage of its life cycle. My approach is centred around facilitating the growth of an individual or team which in turn empowers them to find positive ways to overcome hurdles and barriers both in people and in the workplace.
My passion for empowerment began at an early age and has guided me throughout my life both personally and professionally. Having worked with, and managed, many teams in different environments, I have learned the importance of keeping staff engaged, motivated and at the same time supporting them with any daily challenges they may face. People who find themselves empowered and valued work more confidently and efficiently which in turn helps them achieve the best they can for themselves and the business. This creates a more positive environment in which generally everyone benefits.
Qualifications
I hold a BA Psychology, Diploma of Counselling, and a Cert IV in Analytic Psychotherapy. I am a qualified Master NLP practitioner and hold accredited qualifications in coaching and hypnosis. A combination of my qualifications together with my life and business experience allow me to assist you, your team and business in the most productive and effective way.
